Here at Training Qualifications UK, we like to make sure you’re kept aware of all the most important goings-on in the world of End-Point Assessment. With that in mind, this week we provide information about the Level 2 Hair Professional standard, Assessment Feedback Records, Teaching Assistant resources and the Early Years Educator Mock Professional Discussion.
Level 2 Hair Professional
As per the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 5th April, which confirmed that Hairdressers are allowed to re-open from Monday 12th April, we would like to offer a reminder that our Hair Professional Level 2 Standard will be live and observations are permitted to resume from Wednesday 14th April.
We have recently provided an update on the current discretion for the Hair Professional End-Point Assessment. The new discretion is in place purely to act as a safety net for where there is an exceptional circumstance that would prevent an Apprentice being able to undertake their EPA against the current published Assessment Plan.

Assessment Feedback Records – Update
As per our previous communication, our production team has been working hard behind the scenes to streamline our Assessment Feedback Records that are issued alongside an Apprentice’s overall End-Point Assessment result.
Our new and improved Assessment Feedback Records will ensure that we supply you and your Apprentices with qualitative and concise feedback. They will also make sure that the justification of the overall grading is clear and supportive.
We are delighted to confirm that we are now live with the new records for the below standards.
- Early Years Educator
- Adult and Lead Adult Care Worker
- Team Leader/Supervisor version 2
- Hair Professional Level 2
Therefore, any Apprentices now completing their End-Point Assessment for the above standards will be issued with our new and improved Feedback Records.
Our next batch of Records to be released are for the Teaching Assistant, HR Support and HR Consultant/Partner standards. We will, of course, keep you updated on any further release dates.
Teaching Assistant resource update
We would like to offer an update that our resources for the Teaching Assistant Standard have undergone a Version Change from Version 2 to Version 3.
The new resources are now live and available on our Verve EPA suite. We kindly ask that the newly updated documents are downloaded and used moving forward.
Please note: the resources have been updated to include more support and guidance for Apprentices. A summary of change can be viewed here.

Finally, we would like to offer an update that the Early Years Educator Mock Professional Discussion Question Bank is now available to view and downloaded from our Verve EPA suite.
