With that in mind, we’re reminding you of important ESFA funding rules, EPA registering, bulk registrations, gateway support and booking a training session.
It’s vital that the following information is read and understood to ensure that all processes are followed accordingly and Apprentices’ End-Point Assessment journeys are great from start to finish.

ESFA Funding Rules
As per the ESFA Apprenticeship funding rules for main providers, EPA registrations must be made six months ahead of any planned EPA Dates (Gateway Submission dates).
With this in mind, we are reviewing our data to prepare for the year ahead and to support our Training Providers through the busiest period of the academic year.
EPA Registrations
We understand that the end of the academic year is a busy time for all Providers. Therefore, to ensure we are fully prepared to support you with a larger level of Apprenticeship completions, we kindly ask that all Providers register their Apprentices at least six months in advance of any planned Gateway submissions.
If you have any Apprentices that are required to complete in or before July, please register your Apprentices as soon as possible, ensuring the EPA Date provided is accurate for forecasting and planning purposes.

Gateway Support
We have recently seen an increase in Gateway rejections, based on inaccurate or missing evidence being provided upon submission.
To avoid delays, additional administration and to ensure your Apprentices are accepted through Gateway as quickly and efficiently as possible, we have developed a wide range of support materials that cover the individual Gateway requirements for each Standard.
